FACT AND FICTION

Fact is what`s real, and Fiction is what`s not. You need Fact and Fiction to make a folktale, ghost stories, legend, and a myth. Even know Fact and Fiction are antonyms, you need them to make many things.

GOLDEN SUN PART FIVE

Isaac and Garet left the village. Issac noticed a strange animal on the ground. It said it was an Elemental DJINNE of earth. Isaac let FLINT(DJINNE`s name) join them. FLINT helped them by unleashing powerful attacks. Afterward, they went to a town called Vault. They found the town had been ROBBED!!! They met a teenager named Ivan. He had the power to make whirlwinds and read peoples mind! they found the robbers, and Ivan joined Isaac and Garret on their quest.

THE NIGHT BEFORE THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Today, I went to ST. Joseph (I came from Lampe). It took around five hours to get there. I`m now at Kelly`s house-she is my great aunt-and she made cookies, yay. Afterward , Taylor(my cousin) and me played pool. I lost. And then, I ran the treadmill.  I went upstairs, and dinner was ready. We had pizza for dinner, yum. And then, it was time for bed, sadly.

DOOMSDAY

Hi Ryvre here, I`m going to write a story about the end of the world: I have herd of many things, but nothing as of yet. The year is 2100, and all hell breaks loose. First, water turns to blood. Then, an earth quake seperates the east from the west. After that, the Black Plague come again. Finally, the sun justs dissapears. I was just down at the river, then the water turns red and thick. I knew it was the first sign. three days later, second sign comes: earth quake causes half of North America to sink. a week later, I can barely write because I am poisoned all because of... the BLACK PLAGUE. So many people are dead. A month later...the sun is GONE!!!  S-So cold. if anyone finds t-this journal, please sa-

I`M IN FLORIDA!

I'm in FLORIDA! We traveled through five states. We have six bags of shells. I`m in a condo in Sarasota. After a week, we went to a different condo: Sarasota Sands. After another week we went back home.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

GOLDEN SUN PART FOUR

After the Gardian got Isaac and Garret out, Sol Sanctum started collapsing! Menardi and Satirous had taken Jenna and Kraden away. The Great-Healer told Isaac and Garret to keep four lighthouses unlit. '' What are they supposed to do there?'' Asked Dora, ''You can`t just send my son to do an impossible task, without any help or directions.'' Great -Healer glared at her. ''The Great One has spoken,'' he left the room. ''Well this is stupid!'' A man said. Garret fell in surprise. ''Grandpa what are you doing here?'' Garret asked. ''What are you talking about, I was here the whole time.'' His grandpa said. Isaac`s mom sighed. ''*SIGH* When do you think they should leave?'' Isaac and Garret left the next morning.

PUBLIC SCHOOL

I`m finally starting school! I have a LOT of friends in school. Mrs. Troxell is my science teacher, and my favorite one. Mrs Ray is my home room teacher, she teaches ELA (English Language Arts.) Mrs. Franklin is my math teacher, she is really nice. And, Mrs Huddlstien is my social studies teacher, she has a bad temper. I have joined Band.I LOVE IT! I play a clarinet. I`m learning songs like: Go Tell Aunt Rodey, Stepping Stones, Good King Wenceles, London Bridge, Jingle Bells, Jolly Old St. Nick, and more! On Mondays, I have Art and Drama (Drama is when I practice to be an actor in plays.) I have Band on Wednesdays and Fridays. That is some stuff I do in school.

The Samurai's Way of Life

     The word Samurai means ''those who serve in close attendance to nobility.'' Samurai worked for nobles, and they had sharp weapons for killing. They were also called Bushi. Bushi meant warrior or arms- man; it is the name given to Japanese soldiers. The Bushi class made strong clans and fought against the noble family.

     You had to be born to, or adopted into, the Bushi class to become a Samurai. Training began when a boy was very small. He carried a wooden sword until he was five. After that, he carried a dull steel sword until he was fifteen. The wives and daughters of Samurai were trained to fight too, so they could defend their homes.

     Bushido was the unwritten code of conduct that Samurai followed. There are seven Tenants of Bushido: Justice, Courage, Benevolence, Respect, Honesty, Honor, and Loyalty. Justice means doing the right thing for the right reason. Courage is doing what's right, even if it is life-threatening. Benevolence is showing kindness and earning respect. Honesty was so important that written contracts were offensive to Samurai; his word was truth with no exceptions. A Samurai's honor was his reputation and the reputation of his family. The Samurai was loyal to his master first and the family came a close second.

     The Samurai had weapons like: the Katana, Tanto, Wakizashi, Kanabo, and Bow and Arrow. A Katana is a single-edged curved Samurai sword. The Katana sword is made up of LOTS of different parts: Tsuka (handle), Saya (scabbard), Habaki (blade collar), Kojiri (scabbard tip), Koiguchi (scabbard mouth), and Kashira (butt-cap). The Tanto was a small blade, perfect for close quarters combat. Samurai armor was made of small scales called Kozane. Kozane was made of iron or leather and were melted together to small strips. The strips of Kozane were sewed with lace, and made into a complete set of armor. The armor was sometimes thickened and laced with Kozane sleeves.

     The way a Samurai would prefer to die was in battle. If a Samurai lost too badly though, they sometimes killed themselves with a ritual called seppuku. The Samurai would cut his stomach open with his own wakizashi or tanto to commit suicide. Seppuku was supposed to restore the Samurai's honor.

DOLPHINS AND SHARKS

Depths means how deep something is . Marine is Latin for ''of the sea'' Sharks eat plankton . Coral reefs might be 5,000 to 10,000 years old . Dolphins have whiskers when there born . Dolphins shed there skin! Killer Wales are Dolphins . The Boto Dolphin is some times PINK! Spinner Dolphins jump out of the water and spin, they also do somersaults and there are about 1,000 Dolphins in  there pod!!! Baby Dolphins learn to swim 30 minutes after they are born .

Snakes and other Reptiles .

It is called molting when a Reptile sheds its skin . Reptiles go in a sleeping state called brumation . There was once a tortoise who lived for 150 years! There are no snakes native to Hawaii! Snakes do not have eye lids . People eat snake soup .

TITANIC!

Titanic means: huge and powerful . The Titanic could carry more then: 36,000 Oranges, 7,000 Heads of lettuce, 1,750 Quarts of ice cream, 16,000 Lemons, 2,200 Pounds of coffee, 1,500 Gallons of milk, 40,000 Eggs, 40 Tons of potatoes and 5,900 tons of coal!! The stern is the back the Titanic, the bow is the front of the Titanic . The Titanic sank in 1912 .

Mummies and Pyramids

Egypt is in Africa . The Sahara is the biggest desert is the world! King Menes(MEE-nees) united the two kingdoms . The Duck hieroglyph means: Son . There were over 700 different hieroglyphs! Pharaoh means great house . The gods and goddesses of Egypt were: Ra Sun god,Osiris,Isis,Horus,Bastet,Thoth and Bes . The Sphinx at Giza has the head King Khafre (KAH-fray) .King Tut was a pharaoh who became King when he was nine years old!

GOLDEN SUN! PART THREE!

Kraden (An Alchemy seer) was so happy to see the Elemental Stars . Kraden told them to get the Stars . They got three gems . When they got the fourth , Satirous, Minardi, and Alex ( The three most EVIL people on the planet) were there . Jenna and Kraden were their hostages , and if they did not give them the Elemental Stars they would hurt them . Garret gave them the Stars . The cave started to collapse!!! The Elemental Stars GUARDIAN was there !!! The Guardian got them out . Satirous, Minardi, Alex, Jenna, and Kraden were GONE!!!!

MOTHERS DAY!!!

Yesterday I went to my Grandparents because yesterday was MOTHERS DAY!!! It was FUN . I went to Church too . Papa's friend Steve was there (He only had ONE LEG!!!) I got to see my Grandparents (And Steve) on Mothers day .  For every mother out there HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!! 

GOLDEN SUN ! PART TWO !

Hi Ryvre again, welcome to part two of golden sun .  Three years later , Isaac was fixing the roof . Garret was testing his Psenergy  (A special power only special people possessed). Garret had Telekinesis and manipulated fire , Isaac manipulated earth . They went to a place called Sol Sanctum . They solved many puzzles . They found two rooms : A Sol room and a Luna room . The Luna room was GLOWING! They stepped inside the Luna room . The image sifted . They were in a different room! What stood in front of them was the most special , most powerful , most sacred things on the planet ......THE ELEMENTAL STARS!!!!

GOLDEN SUN! PART ONE!

I'm going to write about a Game Boy Advanced game called GOLDEN SUN . It was stormy outside Isaac's parents were yelling : ''THE BOULDER IS COMING ! THE BOULDER IS COMING !'' A big boulder was about to crush the entire village . Isaac and Garret (Isaac's friend ) were going to the plaza . On their way they saw Isaac's parents ,Jenna ,Madison and Joe  (Jenna's parents) . Felix (Jenna's brother) was drowning ! Isaac and Garret went to the plaza to get help . When they came back it was to late .  ''NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!'' Jenna screamed . Isaac walked away sadly feeling that he should have done something else to prevent the death of his father; Jenna's parents and her brother .

STAR WARS DAY!

Im Ryvre today is STAR WARS DAY . Im going to write about STARS WARS . My favorite guy in STAR WARS is Luke Sky-Walker,Obi-Wan Kenobi,Yoda,Anakin Sky-Walker,and Qui-gon Jinn . I have a STAR WARS blaster,I have 2 STAR WARS light-sabers,I have LOTS of STAR WARS LEGOS . I LOVE STAR WARS . I have 3 STAR WARS LEGO video games . So all I have to do now is say: MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU .
